About
A native of Colorado, Francesca has been training in various genres of dance since she was three years old. Her versatility allows her to create a unique movement quality that can be seen through her passion for performance and choreographic achievements. Recently graduated from Point Park University, one of the top ten schools for the arts in the United States, Francesca not only has had the amazing opportunity to work with their esteemed faculty, but has also been blessed with the opportunity to perform under respective choreographers in works such as: ‘Play By Play’ by Penny Saunders, ‘Nightshades’ by Teena Marie Custer and ‘Diversion of Angels’ by Martha Graham. She’s currently under the mentorship of tap dance extraordinaire, Jason Janas, as a two year member in his tap dance company, Co.MITT. Francesca hopes to continue her artistic endeavors and use her gained knowledge to expand and grow upon her time at Point Park University. Her desire and aspiration in life is to use her artistic ability to reach farther than the eye can see.

Mission
My idiomatic expressions tend to be hidden in those fragmentary moments that reside within the unimaginitive - the in-between spaces of our lives that we see but often do not notice. My work is utterly incomprehensible and is therefore full of deep significance. I am celebrating the human, the marks people make on the world. I treasure the intimate, meaningful, the eccentric, the ordinary; moments that transcend time. I decontextualize. Then, I reconstruct. I accept, respect and cherish where I am and simply believe in the person I am becoming. My art says it all without having to say a single thing.
Vision
I will become unforgettable. My vision is to become a catalyst to transform the world around me through my wit, wisdom, character and courage - all while creating beauty and embodying love. I will not only be interesting but original, not only good enough but exceptional - not just here, but here for a purpose. To bring meaning, beauty, possibility, inspiration and hope into this concrete world of ours. This life is about the pleasure of illustration through movement; of being conscious of the world around me and pushing to find the magic between my body, the movement, and this moment in time. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover beauty in unusual places.
